The Collio

A gastronomic day in the Collio region of Friuli Venezia-Giulia. Starting with gubana, a traditional local cake, in Cividale, followed by a very slow drive along the Collio wine road, where the best white wines in Italy can be found. An afternoon in the Enoteca di Cormons, ending with some of D’Osvaldo’s famous superb prosciutto and a bottle of excellent Friulano wine.
